Hi everyone! My name is Vania and I’m the resident Communications and Special Events Intern here at posAbilities. I’m also currently a student at Simon Fraser University pursuing a major in Communications and minor in Publishing. You may have seen me around the office, and I hope I get the chance to get to know you all! But to start off, here are a few things you may not know about me… I love taking photos, whether they are of nature, my friends and family, or my general surroundings. Naturally, Instagram and Snapchat are my favourite social media platforms. I’m a bit of a foodie, and if you have a dog, we’ll likely become best friends.

On a more serious note, I am looking forward to pairing my love for digital engagement and writing with my work here at posAbilities. I also hope to gain a deeper knowledge of marketing and public relations strategies to create truly unforgettable experiences for everyone involved with the organization that will be my second home for the next four months. My first few weeks here have been nothing short of amazing, and I am beyond excited to be a part of an organization that strives to improve the lives of others. I can’t wait to learn and grow together with you all.
