Travel Around the World Through Music!

Through the power of music travel to distant places like 70’s Britain, 80’s Japan, 90’s Korea! Did you know the popular sounds of K-pop today come all the way from late 90’s Korea? Or the British Invasion that seemed to rock the world, never touched South Korea?
In this experience, hosts Charlene and Bobae will compare popular music from around the world! Come watch music videos, and enjoy music together! Hear from others and notice what you like about a song – is it a hook, a base or a kind or rhythm.
We can be watching content with things like nudity and swear words, however, we will decide our comfort level together at the beginning of each gathering. People are free to come and go!
Bring:
- One song you want to share. YouTube video links work the best.
- Headphones to optimize the sound (optional).
- Stories to share attached to different music that you like.
