Anime Watching + Draw Together Club

Do you like cartoons, comics and animations? What do you think of when you hear “Anime”? Do you think Sailormoon and DragonBallZ? Did you know Anime is actually way more than that! The diversity includes tons more shows, styles, genres, all ages, themes and more! (The shows we watch could have adult themes and some scenes that might make viewers uncomfortable.)
We come together weekly: one week we will watch shows together and one week we will draw together. The host will explore the art of comic making and explain different types of comics, subjects, types of techniques, and the difference between things like comic books and storyboarding! We save the last 15 mins of this gathering for sharing work!
What to bring:
- Drawing materials: pen, pencil, eraser, paper (or anything else you want to draw with)
- If we are watching a show and you have fan art stories to share – what shows did you watch, what did you like about it?
