The Jake Report returns with a review of “CONNECTED” – a film about the global autistic community. In celebration of World Autism Awareness Day on April 2nd, Jake attended the premiere screening at the 6th Annual ANCA® World Autism Festival Kick-Off at the Vancouver International Film Centre.
“CONNECTED” is the first documentary of its type. It chronicles a week in October 2014, when the ANCA® World Autism Festival™ took place for the first time outside of Canada. And the reason it’s distinct? It’s a festival run for autistic people, by autistic people.
