The summer months are approaching quickly, and we’re excited to see in-person camps return this year, alongside their virtual counterparts. Whether you’re looking for traditional outdoor activities, fun day programs, or skill-building opportunities, there’s an option for everyone. Registration for most camps is open now, and they fill up quick! Check out some of the options below:

Easter Seals

Easter Seals has a number of summer camps programs on offer this summer. Their Overnight Summer Camp is back for 2022, available for children and adults (ages 6 to 49) with physical and cognitive disabilities. The nature-based camp has three locations to choose from: the Okanagan, Squamish, and Vancouver Island. They offer a wide range of activities and programming, from sports and games to arts and crafts to leadership and life skills programming.

Easter Seals also offers other camp options, like their City Adventure Day Camp (offered in Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, and Surrey) and their virtual option, Easter Seals Camp@Home.

Silver Lake

Silver Lake Camp

Silver Lake Camp in Peachland is will appeal to those looking for a traditional camping experience. They offer outdoor education and activities like canoeing, hiking, swimming, and camp games. There are a range of summer camp programs available for ages ranging from 8 to 16, plus ASD camps for autistic youth.

Zajac Ranch

Located in Mission, Zajac Ranch is a fully inclusive summer camp where everything is accessible for children with medical conditions and disabilities. Camp activities include horseback riding, rock climbing, canoeing, swimming and more.
