VSB Post-Secodary Transition Info Forum

Come out to this event hosted by the Vancouver School Board (VSB) and learn about local services, programs and resources to support students with disabilities transitioning from secondary school into adulthood. The forum was designed for students in grades 8 through 12, parents, caregivers, counsellors, teachers, resource support staff, social workers, career center coordinators, community-based support staff and those interested in current information about post-secondary programs and services.

Capilano University | Douglas College | Kwantlen Polytechnic University | Vancouver Community College | Ministry of Children and Family Development | Adult and Children Community Living Service Providers and Associations | Post-secondary Disability Advisors | Community and Transition Services | Vocational Rehabilitation Services | Community Recreation Services | Employment Agencies |
Participants will have the opportunity to talk to presenters and collect materials. A Resource Fair of tables and information will be on-going throughout the event.
The forum will be held at the Vancouver School Board Education Centre on the ground floor: 1580 West Broadway (at Fir) Vancouver, BC, V6J 5K8. ***Pay parking available under the Education Centre (entrance on Fir).
