OUR SERVICES
Welcome to posAbilities! We support children and adults who have intellectual/developmental disabilities — and their families — to live good and full lives in the community. Services are person-centred and can change over time with the unique needs of the individual. We offer: community inclusion, employment, explore, home living and behaviour support services.

Explore
Are you interested in getting to know yourself? Is exploring your interests and identity something that you value? If you are curious and open to discovering yourself and your relationship to the world, then Explore may be the right service for you.

Laurel Supports
We support children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, and those who care for them, to make the changes that matter in their lives. Using a Positive Behaviour Support framework, our certified Behaviour Consultants provide:
- consultation & training
- team workshops
- social skills programs
- sexual health education

Employment Service
Our employment services help adults with disabilities prepare for, find, and keep paid work. We offer one-to-one support, job coaching, and opportunities to build skills and confidence through Job Club and other programs. We also serve young people entering the workforce.

Community Inclusion
We offer community-inclusive daytime support for adults interested in exploring the arts, learning new skills, or participating in hobbies and sports. Through hosting local events, clubs, drop-in classes, and volunteering, we provide opportunities to develop connections and to give back to our communities.

Home Living
We offer three support options across Metro Vancouver.
- Shared Living: a family, couple, or roommate enters into a caregiving contract with us, providing support to an adult living with them.
- Supported Living Network: a community support worker assists people with maintaining their independence at home and in the community.
- Staffed Homes with Roommates: community housing teams provide up to 24-hour care for people needing specialized support.
