On behalf of the posAbilities’ Laurel Team, I would like to invite you to join us in the 5th Annual BC Walk Now for Autism Speaks in support for autism research. We are participating again this year and we are looking for walkers, donations and volunteers!!
“Walk Now for Autism Speaks” is a fun-filled, family friendly fundraising event to support autism research in Canada. This year it will be held at Lumberman’s Arch, Stanley Park (Vancouver) on September 30th 2012. Everyone is welcome. Please feel free to send this invitation to anyone who you think may like to participate or donate. This is a great opportunity for families to meet up and socialize with eachother, while getting to know a little bit more about our organization.
Registration opens at 8:30am and the walk begins at 10:00am. We will be showcasing our own booth at the event to show our support.
Our goal this year is to top last year’s effort by targeting $3000! Each participant who raises over $150, will receive a free “Walk now for Autism” Official T-shirt.
If you have any questions about participating or donating, please email me at sly@posabilities.ca or call 604-529-2364.
